Butte-Silver Bow dreamed big – and delivered. With the passage of a community bond, Ridge Waters Waterpark rose in Stodden Park, transforming the site of the long-shuttered Corrette Pool into a destination for recreation, connection, and joy.
At the heart of the park flows Montana’s longest lazy river, winding alongside lap lanes, water slides, a zero-depth entry pool, and play features designed to delight every age. The design balances fun with function: a bathhouse provides modern locker rooms, concessions, and staff areas, while also doubling as support facilities for local high school athletes.
Yet Ridge Waters is more than a pool complex – it is a cornerstone of a larger vision for Stodden Park. Its architecture echoes the adjacent carousel building and complements the unfolding Central Improvement Plan, where new commons spaces and the historic Columbia Gardens arch will connect past and future.
Featured nationally in World Waterpark magazine, Ridge Waters stands as proof of what communities can achieve together. It is a place where neighbors gather, families celebrate, and a city renews its legacy of play through water.
