The organization sought a brand identity that reflected these values while addressing challenges with their previous design, which struggled with legibility and flexibility. The solution required a refreshed approach that honored their mission while offering practical functionality for their diverse needs.

A&E Design’s graphics team crafted an identity that blends historical inspiration with thoughtful design. The new logo incorporates clean, classic elements alongside a modern abstract icon inspired by Missoula’s scenic landscape. Paired with the tagline “Honoring Our Legacy” and complemented by colors, typography, and logo variations, the cohesive identity provides flexibility and versatility across platforms and applications.

To further enhance Heritage Missoula’s mission, A&E Design developed a flexible signage system that allows the organization to leave a lasting impression on the places they have impacted. The first marker, prominently installed at the Missoula Public Library, celebrates their legacy while inviting the community to connect with the stories behind their work.
