A renovation to the bar at Stock Farm Club transformed the existing space into an energized hub, designed to attract younger members to the elite club. The bar reflects its Montana context, rich in distressed wood and natural stone. With cast iron and wrought steel detailing, the space exudes a rugged feel, while glass cabinetry and earth-toned leather provide an element of warmth. A linear bar serves as the design focus, comprised of a dark walnut countertop and finished with various cuts of stone. A variety of seating, from banquette-style booths to informal high-top chairs, promote impromptu gathering and casual socialization.

A spectrum of lighting
A long, horizontal window above the bar provides a heavy dose of natural light, while various fixtures provide both illumination and style. Edison pendant lights hang over the bar top, and black metal, lantern-style chandeliers are dispersed throughout the space.
Formal vs. Informal
The renovation provided separation between the club’s restaurant and bar. The bar accommodates a social, youthful atmosphere, ensuring the club restaurant functions as an intimate fine dining experience.
A mixed-material floor
Distressed wood was selected to match the existing floor, while decorative, quarry tiles highlight the bar area with a geometric design.
