Set against the sweeping Hi-Line landscape, the Malta Readiness Center offers more than a base of operations. It creates a lasting home for Montana’s citizen-soldiers. The design embraces both the practical demands of military readiness and the human need for a space that feels dignified, durable, and welcoming.
The 88,000-square-foot campus includes a 33,000-square-foot main building alongside 35,000 square feet of essential support facilities, carefully arranged to enhance efficiency in training and daily operations. Complementary support structures, site improvements, and force protection measures ensure that the Center meets rigorous Department of Military Affairs standards while also reflecting a thoughtful approach to safety and longevity.
Material choices were intentionally warm and enduring, creating an environment that is as resilient as the people it serves. Achieving LEED® Silver certification, the Center stands as a testament to sustainability and stewardship, balancing innovation with tradition. For reservists and their families, the Malta Readiness Center is more than a facility. It is a symbol of community commitment and a place where service and heritage are honored every day.
