NAMING

Simple and memorable

Early on in the process, we identified a need to change the name “Montana Preservation Alliance” to “Preserve Montana.” This more concisely reflects its mission, purpose, and passion in a way that will resonate with supporters. 

TAGLINE

A clear direction

Preserve Montana’s mission is no easy feat, but its tagline didn’t have to be complicated. Our team took the brand’s goal and turned it into an impactful statement.

Field Work

Our insight during the logo process was to create an identity that addressed their current struggles to help people easily identify: ‘who they are and what they do’ and to breathe new life into their mark. The big idea was to become approachable and have an adaptable mark that encompassed all that they do.

Heritage, Land, and Places

A primary design goal was to create a mark that served as more than a logo. We strived to design a logo that created a system. The landscape elements of the logo break out into icons representing the three pillars of Preserve Montana, Heritage, Land, and Places. 

COLORS

Naturally vibrant

Bright and bold, the colors we chose for Preserve Montana are directly inspired by the beauty of Montana’s landscapes.
