A commitment to the environment

In alignment with Big Sky ideals, the design uses a variety of energy-efficient strategies to pursue LEED certification, including multiple solar panels, a ground source heat pump, and a rainwater collection system.

A harmony of indoor and outdoor spaces

A large multi-purpose room allows users to spill out onto the lawn and use a designated outdoor space that connects with the neighboring community park. A “movie screen” built into the gymnasium’s façade is designed to slide on rails and hide discretely behind a slat wall.

Relax, socialize, and play

While geared towards kids and teens, a Youth Development area encourages multigenerational use through rec activities, including a variety of table games, a tech bar, and a cozy lounge with a fireplace.
