We created a space that makes as much of a statement as the cuisine with theatrical accents and thoughtful design. With a modern Metropolitan concept, patrons of this Billings-based bistro embark on a sensory journey while they dine.

We created a space that makes as much of a statement as the cuisine with theatrical accents and thoughtful design. With a modern Metropolitan concept, patrons of this Billings-based bistro embark on a sensory journey while they dine.
A culinary backdrop
The Parasol experience starts with the entrance. In this narrow space, our team used a wood ceiling to lead guests into and through the eatery. With a large open kitchen at the back, diners are treated to an unimpeded view of the chef’s culinary mastery in action.
Playing tricks with light
Although the venue has very little natural light, our designers capitalized on the large entryway windows to illuminate the entire restaurant. Incorporating a mirrored wall reflects light throughout and gives the illusion of a larger space.
Building visual interest
We used creative lighting, engaging patterns, and rich colors to enhance the interior mood. Starfire lights double as a design feature by casting a striking pattern against the wall coverings, while a lacy Middle Eastern tapestry above the kitchen adds intrigue and warmth.
